PTPP Completes Construction of West Java International Airport Access Toll Road
PT PP (Persero) Tbk (“PTPP”) has successfully completed the construction of the West Java International Airport Access Toll Road (“BIJB”). The procession of the inauguration of the BIJB Access Toll Road project was carried out on Monday (20/12) and inaugurated directly by Deputy Minister of PUPR John Wempi which was symbolically marked by the signing of an inscription. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by PTPP Infrastructure Operations Director Yul Ari Pramuraharjo, and local regional officials.
The BIJB Access Toll Road construction project, which is located in Majalengka Regency, West Java Province, has a 3.83 kilometer track with an implementation period of 12 (twelve) months and a maintenance period of 2 (two) years. Projects that have an initial contract value of Rp. 210 billion. This project has a scope of work, including: main road work, ramps, overbridges, box traffic, box culverts, culverts & box extends, frontage, etc.
The construction of the BIJB Access Toll Road has been completed by PTPP in September 2021 and has received a Certificate of Operation Eligibility on December 6, 2021. This toll road will serve as access to and from Kertajadi Airport via the Cipali Toll Road and will soon be connected to the Cisumdawu Toll Road. The existence of the toll road can cut travel time from Bandung to Kertajati Airport by up to 50%.
